My favourite Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil – Iberico – Review & Swatches

Oh Nars, Nars, Nars. You beauty for creating this pencil. But you cruel, cruel thing for making it limited edition!

I got this pencil in the Nars Digital World set two Christmas’ ago. Iberico is the most perfect red-orange colour. It is so amazingly bold and wearable all at the same time. It’s the perfect pop of colour, especially in the summer time with a tan, lashings of highlighter and tons of mascara! The Velvet Matte collection is very comfortable on the lips, wonderfully matte and not at all drying! The lasting power of these is incredible, which is why they are my favourite formula of lip pencils. When this shade does wear off the lip, the bold colour remains in a gorgeous stain of orange goodness on the lips.

Basically I can’t rave enough about not only this particular colour but these lip pencils, I have another post about the shade Descanso – Swatches & Review. I don’t know what I’m going to do once this pencil runs out because it is my summer colour of choice. The most similar shade I can see from Nars themselves is Red Square, (Β£19, Nars). However I have recently ordered Jeffree Star’s liquid lipstick in Anna Nicole, as swatches from other bloggers look very similar to the shade of this pencil, Iberico. So fingers crossed for that one!Do you know any other lip pencils which are similar colour to this? Or even better do you know where I could find this shade to purchase a back up? I can’t live without it!
