MAC is a brand I have recently become obsessed with. I’d never really felt the need to dabble with their products before, apart from lipsticks, but since trying out other products from them I’m becoming more and more into them.
So when payday came along, I looked at my list of wanted products from MAC and decided upon two to purchase this month. Due to the bank holiday in the UK Debenhams were having a sale (I think there was about 10% off), so what better way to justify spending money on things I don’t really need?
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Give Me Sun (£24, Debenhams)
There’s only one person to blame for this. And that my friends is Desi Perkins! She is obsessed with this stuff and I am obsessed with her, so it all just makes sense. It’s a gorgeous matte warm bronze shade. This will be perfect for the upcoming summer time and is a more natural finish than my current L’oreal bronzer. I feel a comparison post coming on.
MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre (£16, Debenhams)
I think every blogger, YouTuber and make up artist has this in their kit. It’s an essential base to place on the eyes to smooth everything out and ensure eyeshadows show their true colours when applied on top. I thought seen as I’m dabbling more and more into eyeshadow, I used to be a one colour over the lids kinda girl, it was a great product to add to my kit. Upon swatching the product on my hand it’s very opaque and smooth and I can see why many people would enjoy this product.
